How did she know that today marks the end of three weeks of intense work hours for me? How did she know that after today, and for the next couple of weeks, I will be ready and willing to PLAY?
And what do I want to play?
I want to be a kid again and play games on a whim.

I want to get my hands messy with art supplies and run with abandon in the field.

All I could think as I read this post was how little children smell with the sweet sweat of playing in the dirt, running in the sun, in and out of the pool and struggling to thread beads on leather strips or jute string at a picnic table loaded with containers of beads in every color of the rainbow. Have fun at play, Genie. (I'm not a wishcaster participant so I don't have the proper vocabulary - but I think I get the idea. hUg!)
