Sculptures

There is something about ice sculptures and winter that puts me in a reverie. I think of ice castles, and faux-fur fairies. I think of the Sugar Plum Queen, and the Nutcracker Prince.

I have always loved fantasy. I love the worlds that live in people's imagination and that sprout in mine. One of my favorite 3D graphics programs which I have lost is Bryce. With it, you can create fantastical landscapes and settings of dreams. I am on a quest to recover it.

I bought it a while ago, via internet, but several reformats and moves later, I am faced with the option of buying it again. Well, worse things can happen right?

I am so filled with anticipation. I don't even know why. It's like I stepped out of my old reality into this new magical realm, and I am the protagonist.

That is why the Ace of Crystals surfaced this morning. It totally represents how I feel. :)

Blessed be :)

It reminds me of the ice sculptures in Ottawa. I have never heard of that program before! Your work is so beautiful and inspiring. You make ice less scary and truly lovely.

I must agree--there is something enchanting about a pristine sleeping landscape. So entrancing! :)

I love the strength of shape in this card, very bold and linear. Marvelous!

Very cool. Ha ha
Ice is magical. Two of my life goals are to see the aurora borealis and to stay in an ice hotel. I think it must be like a magical kingdom.

Today's art is utterly stunning in how captivating it is, while it seems to assure me of my own magic! Beautiful, Genie :)

Yay! Let's all go ice skating in winter's magic. Yes, it's cold and can be inconvenient but there is magic.

You are all my muses and gentle fairies. I am so happy you are all in my life. :)

Blessed be :)

Wow - first I get emails with pictures of ice sculptures and now this! Wonder what the universe is saying.

BTW - so happy that you are going to publish your cards - they will be a huge hit. AND add my name to the buying list.

Let the magic begin.

I've seen ice sculptures before. They were making them at a college I visited over the summer! I was so confused, ice sculptues in summer?

The Ace of Crystals is beautiful.
