It's week three of Jamie Ridler's Next Chapter Book Club of Wreck This Journal, and I can already see we are a whole new group of people!
The fun is permeating this wrecking crew and gleeful, wicked laughter can be heard worldwide. It's not only the sweet sensation of throwing taboo out the window along with the journal, it's incredibly exhilarating to watch what devastation my fellow bloggers are up to!

Here's what my journal is looking like this week.
It can't stay closed. Its cover is bend and the spine barely holding on. Of course it looks pristine compared to others' journals but I'm trying to do the internal wrecking first before I go for the gusto! :)
I made ugly lines!
I scratched it!
I drew circles...
And the eye peeking out from the burned page :)
The spillage on the right reminds me of a heart! Whoop :)
And last but not least...
I embellished it! :)
If you haven't joined, what are you waiting for? It's never too late :)

ReplyDeleteGreat wreckage this week. i like your white page and that you drew the fruit the stickers came from.
ReplyDeleteI still have to chew my page, but now there's gross oil/old BBQ sauce that has bled over from the Document Your Dinner page before it! Unless that'll give it some flavor. Hm.....
ReplyDeleteGreat wrecking this week, Genie!

ReplyDeletePeace & Love.
I saw that journal at Barnes and Noble yesterday. I almost bought it, but....I'm glad to see that you are having fun with it. It sure looks like you are!!
ReplyDeleteI love your coffee spill. It DOES look a little like a heart, and a little like a treasure map!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love how the burned page and the beautiful face are interacting in the destruction and rising like a phoenix into something unexpected. And your coffee spill! Gorgeous ... how do you get it to be so artful and interesting? Really cool journal.
ReplyDeleteHehehe...I like your embellishments. :)
ReplyDeleteyour journal is just bulging with creative stuff. I love the ugly page and the fruit page. such fun! ciao!
ReplyDeleteYou definetly will need to drive over it. If you don't have a puddle of water then just use a water bottle and make one. I think its looking at the tread on your page that is the cool part.

ReplyDeleteI better get at it! I think that somehow i have done the big destructive things first and then decided to do the lovely fun things...wonder why that is!
Thanks for the inspiration. Wonderful for sure!
You were a one-woman wrecking crew this week! Good idea to get some of the inside jobs done before it becomes impossible to work in. I've held back at rubbing food in it or spitting in it. For now, anyway.
ReplyDeleteInteractive wreckering between pages! WOWZA
ReplyDeleteI ADORE your burnt page...simply LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteGreat wrecking!!! I love it!! :)
